BACO award nominations reopen today!

We are delighted to announce that nominations for the BACO awards have reopened today, and will remain open until Monday 7 September. These awards are an exciting opportunity to celebrate the achievements of health professionals throughout our specialty, and are divided into the categories of Rising star, Outstanding trainer, Global health, Innovation in Otolaryngology and ENT allied professionals. Nominations can be made via this dedicated portal, and the winners will be announced and presented with their awards at the BACO conference, taking place 10-12 January.

This has been a profoundly challenging time for our specialty, as it has for all health professionals, and we hope that the BACO awards will serve as a chance to inspire our colleagues throughout ENT. They represent a fantastic opportunity to reward excellence in Otolaryngology, and to celebrate our peers, so if you have a colleague whom you find particularly inspiring, or whose work you feel deserves greater recognition, this is your opportunity to put his or her name forward! Please note that both nominator and nominee must be ENT UK members to qualify for inclusion. All existing nominations from the previous cycle will automatically be included on the final shortlist.
