About BRS

The British Rhinological Society was created to promote education and research in all aspects of Rhinology - the study of the nose, sinuses and related areas including facial plastics. The Society provides a platform for those with an interest in Rhinology to help disseminate knowledge on the subject. The BRS provides a national umbrella to promote and support good clinical practice and advancements in the field of Rhinology. It holds an annual meeting to facilitate engagement, and provide education and professional development for its members.


The Event

Join Us in Newquay for the 2026 British Rhinological Society Annual Meeting.

The British Rhinological Society (BRS) invites you to attend the BRS 2026 Juniors Day and Annual Meeting, taking place on Thursday 7 May, and Friday 8 May 2026 at The Atlantic Hotel, Dane Road, Newquay, TR7 1EN, United Kingdom.

Founded to promote education and research in every aspect of Rhinology from the nose and sinuses to facial plastics, the BRS provides a national platform for clinicians and scientists to share knowledge, advance clinical practice, and support innovation in our field. The Annual Meeting is a highlight of the year, offering education, networking and professional development for everyone with an interest in Rhinology.

The event will be divided as follows:

•        7th May, 08:55 hrs - 12:30 hrs: BRS Juniors Day Meeting followed by lunch.

•        7th May, 13:30 hrs - 17:45 hrs: BRS Annual Meeting (first part)

•        8th May, 09.00 hrs - 13.00 hrs: - BRS Annual Meeting (second part) followed by lunch.

•        Registration starts at 08:00 hrs on both the days (please check the programme)

Registrations 

The BRS Juniors Day and Annual Meeting registrations are now open. Both events will take place in-person. Early Bird registration ends on 8th March 2026 (23:59 hrs) and the final registration closes on 29th April 2026 (23:59 hrs).

The delegate ticket includes the tea/coffee/refreshments/lunch on the 7th and 8th May 2026.

With this ticket, you will have access to the following:

  •  7th May, 08:55 hrs - 12:30 hrs: BRS Juniors Day Meeting followed by lunch.

The Networking Evening Dinner ticket must be purchased together with your event ticket, as it cannot be bought separately at a later date. Getting there

1. By Train

Nearest station: Newquay railway station, Station Parade, Newquay, TR7 2NF. 
From the station to the hotel is an uphill walk or short taxi ride. (Walking time will depend on pace; taxi is quicker if you have luggage.)

 

2. By Bus / Coach

Newquay has a bus station off Manor Road, served by operators like First Kernow and Transport for Cornwall. 
There are local bus routes passing near the Atlantic Hotel. Some of the bus lines that stop nearby are 56, 91, U1, U1A, N1.
From Newquay Airport, bus line 56 runs to Newquay town as one of the options. 

 

3. By Air

The closest airport is Newquay Cornwall Airport (NQY). Cornwall Airport Newquay
From the airport to the hotel:
by Taxi is approx. 11 minutes and may cost about £16 - £20
by Bus (line 56) that takes approx. 33-45 minutes and costs around £2
