Elective Recovery Technology Fund (ERTF) launched by NHS, with 29 Oct application deadline

The NHS has launched the Elective Recovery Technology Fund (ERTF). As part of wider targeted investment supporting elective recovery, the ERTF will make £250m available across regions before 29 Oct 2021 deadline.

It is a part of the NHS Guidance on finance and contracting arrangements for H2 2021/22 published on 30 September 2021. The TIF is a flexible £700 million fund comprising capital and revenue funding which has been established as part of the Government’s ‘Build Back Better Plan’ for health and social care. The £250 million allocated to the ERTF is exclusively for digital technology that will enable elective recovery.
