ENT UK position on former ENT consultant sex offense charges

We are aware that Dr Matthew Isles, an ENT consultant in Stoke, has been convicted of child sex offences. This consultant was a member of ENT UK, but his membership was immediately revoked when we were informed of his arrest. As a membership association representing ENT nationally, clearly such actions are intolerable and in complete contravention of our code of conduct, as well as at complete odds with our values. Our thoughts are with anyone who may have suffered as a result of his actions.
