HPV Action Update

ENT UK is a member of the HPV Action collaborative partnership of 43 patient and professional organisations that advocates HPV vaccination for both boys and girls.

A member’s meeting was held on Tuesday, 8th March 2016. It was agreed that a small working group would be set up to look at any opportunities to increase HPV Action’s engagement with the general public.

The Scottish Public Petitions Committee discussed the Throat Cancer Foundation’s petition on gender-neutral HPV vaccination on 8 March and resolved to write to the Scottish Government to ask it to consider early adoption of a gender-neutral HPV vaccination programme.

The next member’s meeting will be held in July. ENT UK will keep you updated on all developments.
