HPV Action Update

ENT UK is a member of the HPV Action collaborative partnership of 43 patient and professional organisations that advocates HPV vaccination for both boys and girls.

A letter was sent to the Public Health Minister Jane Ellison MPin January raising some issues of concern. Please click here to download a copy.
 
HPV Action has begun the process of contacting MPs to build up support for a decision on vaccinating boys in 2016 and also for the ‘right’ decision to be made. A specific call to action is asking MPs to sign EDM 464 tabled by Danny Kinahan MP (http://www.parliament.uk/edm/2015-16/464). This currently has 18 signatures but the final total  needs to be closer to 50. Please contact any MPs you work with and ask them to sign this too.
 
An early ‘win’ is that Dr Sarah Wollaston MP, chair of the Health Select Committee, has agreed to help, initially by asking some PQs.
