UID:336
DESCRIPTION:About the EventThe British Society of Otology (BSO) 2026 Balance Course will take place on Tuesday 3 March at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.\n\nWithin ENT, balance has become a niche specialty understood by few.\n\nThis course aims to address this issue by providing ENT surgeons of all grades with the necessary tools to diagnose and treat patients in a routine ENT clinic.  The emphasis of the BSO course is on clinical techniques and management strategies which work for the general ENT surgeon rather than the neuro-otologist. The course will also give an insight into which investigations are likely to influence management. A morning session of lectures is followed in the afternoon by practical worked examples of common balance disorders, all this in face-to-face course.\n\nThis course is designed to provide ENT surgeons of all grades with the essential tools and everything you need to know in order to confidently diagnose and treat the range of common balance disorders seen in general ENT practice. \n\nProgramme The programme can be viewed online here.\n\nPlease note that timings are subject to change. \n\nRegistrationRegistration is now open. \n\nREGISTER NOW\n\nVenueRoyal Sussex County Hospital, Eastern Road, Brighton, BN2 5BE\n\nCPD/CME 7 CPD points awarded by ENT UK CPD committee.\n\nCVSAwaiting approval.\n\nSponsors & ExhibitorsPlatinum Sponsor (BSO Annual Meeting, Juniors Day and Balance Course 2026)MED-EL\n\nMED-EL Medical Electronics, a leader in implantable hearing solutions, is driven by a mission to overcome hearing loss as a barrier to communication and quality of life.
