Applications now open for Instructional Sessions at BACO International 2026

Submissions for Instructional Sessions are now open for BACO International 2026.  All submissions must be made via the ENT UK website.

A number of instructional sessions are available for open submission. We encourage submissions on a wide range of topics, although priority will be given to sessions addressing advances surgical techniques or those addressing the management of challenging conditions or clinical issues. Topics cannot be entered for both short papers and instructional sessions.

If your abstract is successful for an Instructional Session, we will be in touch with you to confirm your allocated session date and time.

Why submit your abstract?

  • Exposure: Gain exposure for your research. BACO 2026 will attract a wide range of experts from across the specialty and around the world.
  • Peer review: Peer review is a vital part of the research process. Presenting your findings at BACO will allow you to get immediate feedback from your peers in an intellectually stimulating environment.
  • Networking: Network with peers, colleagues and experts in ENT research from the UK and all around the world. This is the perfect forum to share your thoughts and ideas with them.
  • Participate: Experience the extraordinary atmosphere that makes BACO a special event. If you have attended before, you will be aware of the sense of professional camaraderie this conference creates.

Application Requirements

Applicants should submit a 250-word abstract outlining the objectives of the session and planned content.

The names of any additional presenters must be submitted at the time of application. All those presenting will be expected to register for the meeting.

Applications should also include a summary of the experience of the team delivering the Instructional Session relevant to the topic – i.e., what makes them suitable to deliver a session on the subject area. This could include evidence of publications or chapters on the topic, previous lectures or being a specialist centre for a procedure or condition. The strengths of the team presenting will be considered alongside the topics when making the final selections.

Please note: abstracts cannot be edited after they have been submitted. You will have the option to 'save and exit' if you would like to save the progress of your application and submit at a later date.
