About the Event
The Student and Foundation Doctors in Otolaryngology (SFO) are excited to invite you to their 2025 Conference which will take place on Saturday 20th September.
The conference is aimed at students and junior doctors (F1-CT2, Trust grade equivalents) interested in a career in ENT, and will cover the following key points.
- The typical working life of a trainee and consultant in the ENT specialty, outlining the highlights and challenges.
- Entry requirements for a career in ENT and instruct delegates on how these may be achieved
- Explore the breadth of the ENT specialty
- Inspire delegates to pursue a career in ENT
The event programme will consist of lectures in the morning, followed by practical workshops in the afternoon.

Getting there
The venue is within 5 miles from Coventry city centre and is served by convenient road and rail access routes.
If travelling by train, Coventry has regular services between Birmingham New Street and London Euston. From Coventry station it is approx. a 20 minute taxi journey to the venue, or you can take a direct bus to University Hospital via the 9 and 9A services (please check the destination on the front of the bus which will display University Hospital).
If travelling by car, please use the postcode CV2 2DX for Sat Nav directions. There is onsite paid parking available, however, due to high demand during peak times, we recommend that you arrive with plenty of time before the event starts to find a parking space or consider using public transport where possible.
