About the Event
WENTS will be holding their annual Leadership Course on Tuesday 13th May 2025, at The Library within The Royal College of Surgeons of England, London.
The Women in ENT Surgery foundation in leadership course aims to inspire and empower women in ENT to undertake leadership roles at all stages throughout their surgical career. This one day course will provide participants with the opportunity to understand their own brand and their role as a leader, whilst developing and adapting their own leadership style.
Attendees will learn the differences between male and female leadership styles, how to manage difficult conversations or conflict situations and negotiate. Delegates will also appreciate how mentoring and coaching can be used as a leadership tool.
The foundation course will also provide a unique opportunity to meet like-minded junior and senior inspiring women within ENT with whom they can network, build relationships and obtain leadership advice. This course will help attendees to create a personal plan and develop key leadership skills to equip them as a successful future female surgical leader.
Refreshments and a sandwich buffet lunch will be provided for all attendees.
